Little Creeps - Review - @BrandonCSites / #Horror

Little Creeps (2012) **
D: Brad Leo Lyon
C: Joe Estevez, Robert Z'Dar, Dustin Diamond, Lark Voorhies, Brad Leo Lyon, Aurelian Smith
P: A mythology professor unleashes demons from hell to do his bidding after discovering what was thought to be a long lost Satanic book. However, something goes wrong with the incantation and the demons come out half the size, but double the trouble.

Little Creeps is a pre-pubescent teenage boy's dream come true complete with animation, juvenile humor, fart & masturbation jokes, wrestling matches, monsters and most importantly - lots of tits & skin. Little Creeps brings back nostalgic memories of the films of yesteryear with some perfectly cheesy looking monsters & make-up effects along with the casting of Saved by the Bell alum Lark "Lisa Turtle" Voorhies & Dustin "Screech Powers" Diamond.

However, Little Creeps is entirely overlong at 109 minutes. Comedy has to be light and breezy and fast paced in order for it to work. The editing in Little Creeps allows for the film to drag consistently throughout the entire film, which causes the jokes from having the kind of zing that they should have. Tone wise, Little Creeps nails it. It's spot on. However, Little Creeps could use another pass at the editing table in order to tighten things up a bit. [Not Rated] 109 mins.
