Review: Back when I was a kid, one of the things that made me fall in love with the horror genre was the attitude & spirit of some of the B films that I would watch late at night. They weren't trying to be politically correct. They weren't going for depth or nuance. The main objective was to create an entertaining film experience. Some of these B movies used juvenile humor. Others paraded around lots of gore & nudity. While the best ones, unleashed their creativity. Gingerdead Man 3 continues on with that tradition by utilizing all of these elements.

In it, America's favorite homicidal cookie travels back, in time, to 1976, to a Roller Disco, for a good ole fashioned killing spree. When the Gingerdead Man isn't killing people with acid or cocaine laced with cleaning products, he's getting his penis ripped apart in a scene reminiscent of the one in Porky's involving Beulah Ballbricker. In another, he's watching women scrub down cars provocatively. However, the film doesn't quit there. Gingerdead Man 3 even manages to spoof films like Carrie (1976) & The Silence of the Lambs, while also incorporating Adolf Hitler, Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer and Lizzie Borden into the story as well! Heck, there's even a sub-plot involving Pearl Harbor for good measure!

Nothing is off limits in Gingerdead Man 3 as it throws in anything & everything (including the kitchen sink) all in the name of entertainment. It may not aspire to be high art, but at least Gingerdead Man 3 knows what it's trying to accomplish and it waves it B movie aspirations like a badge of honor. [Not Rated] 78 minutes.
