Review: After five entries, someone finally caught on as to why people keep renting titles in this series. So instead of trying to develop a story, interesting characters or anything of that sort, the makers of Witchcraft VI have decided to skip all that and give fans exactly what they want. Sex and lots of it!
In terms of presenting sex & nudity, there's a bevy of acceptable looking women. They're all presented in various states of undress. When it comes to the actual sex, they don't just give us lots of sex, but a variety of sex. In one scene, the sex gets a little rough for one couple, but not only is it rough sex, it's rough sex in a bathtub! Or in another scene, two cast members have sex in public, but not only do they indulge in public sex, they indulge in public sex on top of a car! What guy hasn't fantasized about having sex on top of a car?!?
So far, so good, right? Not exactly. While the sex is plentiful, it requires intricate camera work, a cast that has chemistry and a score that can heighten the erotic nature of what's happening. These are all things that Witchcraft VI is incapable of handling as none of these scenes are presented in a convincing manner.
You know a film is bad when it focuses on one thing and it can't even get that right. [R] 88 minutes.
